Independent contractor misclassification question well suited for certification

In Ayala v. Antelope Valley Newpapers, Inc. (pub. ord. October 17, 2012), the Court of Appeal (2nd District, Div. 4), partially reversed a denial of class certification in a wage & hour class action alleging that newspaper delivery people were incorrectly classified as independent contractors.
